Former PARADISE LOST Drummer Offering Private Lessons
July 26, 2007Britain's Wigan Today reports: The former drummer from a top heavy metal band is hoping to set a new generation of musicians on the road to stardom.
Lee Morris, 37, married a Wigan girl and settled in the area after quitting the "kings of gloom", PARADISE LOST, five years ago.
Now, the Wolverhampton-born drummer, who has appeared on the same stage as some of the biggest names in metal — KISS, MARILYN MANSON and OZZY OSBOURNE — is hoping to pass on some of his skills to a new generation at the Urban Sounds rehearsal and recording studios in New Springs.
Lee said: "I spent nine years recording and touring the world with the group.
"Although we had some wild times, I thought it was time to give up living out of a suitcase, so I got married and settled down.
"I was blessed with what the music industry gave to me, and I thought it was about time to pass some of that on.
"It's not just the technical drumming side, I hope I can offer some advice and experience about the music business."
